Brad facilitated the LEED design and documentation process for Poly Canyon Village, while owner and principal architect at a former firm. This required coordination of a very large consultant team of architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil engineering, and landscape firms, along with the college administration and general contractors. The project for California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo consists of student and faculty housing, nine buildings, two parking garages, a campus loop drive, restored creek, swimming pool, post office, retail, and restaurant spaces. Under Brad’s leadership in Green Building Facilitation, the project was awarded the prestigious LEED Gold rating from the US Green Building Council.
