Naglee Park | A Touch of Blue
The 499 square foot Craftsman cottage replaced a small, detached carriage house in the historic Naglee Park neighborhood, and compliments the main house, built in 1908. Providing additional housing in the Bay Area until the family may need it fills a need in a tight housing market. The cottage contains a separate bedroom and bathroom and an open kitchen/living/dining area. Wall niches in the kitchen and living room offer additional storage. A custom barn door made from wood reclaimed and repurposed from the Santa Cruz boardwalk repairs hides a stacked washer and dryer. With the separate bedroom and living areas, a full-size kitchen, high ceilings, and skylights, this cottage is a great place to call home.
