ADDITION  |  REMODEL  |  HISTORIC RESTORATION
Naglee Park  |  12th Street

A Transitional Craftsman, originally built in 1904, was remodeled to replace several unpermitted additions that were not to code. The playful blue exterior with white trim evokes the charm and character of this home. When the current owners purchased the home, there was an unpermitted solarium. With articulated beams and ceiling truss, the remodel honors the character and charm of the original addition while bringing the space up to code. Details in this sensitive historic restoration include original stained glass windows, a coved ceiling, built-in window seat with storage and extraordinarily tall baseboards, all typical of a historic Craftsman home.
