This open floor plan with vaulted ceilings transformed the original ranch style house for an active family. The front of the home was reconfigured to create a porch and light-filled entry. The architectural truss detail above the front door was duplicated inside over the generous kitchen island and again in the dining area. An exposed wood ceiling beam adds interest and warmth.
